The good guys's terrible service.

 

People who live in Australia would know The Good Guys. It's a really big franchise.

They sell electronics, smart phones, washing machines and so on.

There are a variety of price ranges. There are top brand products such as LG, Samsung and Sony.

Also there are Small company products such as Falcon and Linsar.

When I google the products The Good Guys was most cheap. I bought TV in The Good Guys.

But I don’t really recommend The Good Guys. I have had a terrible experience with them. 

15/06/2020 I bought a Linsar 75 inch TV for my birthday gift.

It was a big sale. When I compare some big TV’s The Good Guys TV was the cheapest.

I think if I don’t buy top brand products, it would be similar quality among small company one.

In my opinion, Linsar TV is the same quality as Falcon or TCL whatever.

But the problem is that I couldn’t check the quality yet.

When I ordered it they said they are going to contact me as soon as possible.

After 1 week I didn’t get any contact from them then I called them to ask what’s going on with my order.

 

Me : I want to check my online order. What’s going on?

1st person : I will connect with another person.

Me : I want to check my online order. What’s going on?

2nd person : Oh. GIve me a sec. I will connect with another person.

Me : Did you know the reason why I called you?

3rd person : I am sorry. I didn’t get any information. How can I help you?

Me : ….. I want to check my online order. What’s going on?

3rd person : Let me check. It’s too high demand. You can get this TV in the second week of August.

Me : What ? Why didn’t you tell me? When I ordered it it would take up to 2 weeks.

3rd person : I don’t know what the website said. Anyway you can get it in the second week of August.

Me : Why didn’t you contact me? If you would know it will take 2 weeks you should let me know.

       I don’t want to wait 2 month for this TV.

3rd person : If you want to cancel you can cancel it. Do you wanna cancel it?

Me : What are you saying now? What a customer service. Can I have you headquarter email address?

      I don’t want to talk with you.

3rd person : I don’t know if you go to a website you can find it. Do you wanna cancel this order?

Me : Let me think about it.

 

That’s all. They don’t say sorry at all. Not helpful.

So I sent an email to their headquarter.

Homepage shows me it will take up to 2 days to reply.

So I waited 2 days. But no one contacted me.

I sent an email again. No answer again.

Next Monday I sent again, also nothing.

So I made a comment on their Facebook advertising like in the picture below.

 

I am sorry. I couldn’t find my comment.

I ask them ‘Why no one contacted me?’ ‘I sent an email 3 times.’ ‘I asked you ~~~ you never answer me.’

’what’s going on with my order?’ Then Finally they contacted me.

I think if my comment showed on their Facebook advertising, they would have some problems.

 

 

In brief, 

Good guys : we will do our best. I am sorry. We will contact you soon.

Me : OK. Thanks.

Few days later

Me : What’s going on? Still no one contacted me.

Good guys : …..

I made a comment again.

Me : Someone ordered later than me, he got a TV. And please answer all the questions what I asked you.

Good guys : No. Over Australia no one got it.

 

 

Me : (I sent this review to him) Is he not Australian? Do you have stores in other countries? 

Good guys : The confirmed purchase means is not the date when he ordered. No one got it in Australia.

Me : Please answer all my questions.

Good guys : …….

 

I gave up from that time. I still don’t understand that review.

But they said ‘No. You are wrong.’

I lost all my words.

What the hell is this customer service? 

They have a choice whether to just wait or cancel it.

They don’t have any faults. No answer what they don’t want to.

When I saw Facebook comments, there were lots lots of issues like mine.

If you want to buy something in The Good Guys,

You should order only something in stock in the store.

Never trust online order. You should double check with a phone call.

They always said we have in stock, but when I went to pick up the items they always said ‘We are sorry. We don’t have stock. Please wait blah blah.’
